Getting Fitted for DenturesIt requires several trips to our office to have dentures made. During the first visit, we will discuss what you would like to accomplish with your dentures and what options are available to you. We will take x-rays and impressions of your mouth to craft dentures that will fit in your mouth perfectly. Once crafted, you will return to our office so that we can check the dentures to see how they fit in your mouth. During this visit, we will make minor adjustments to the dentures to ensure proper fit.
Denture CareDentures must be removed for cleaning and during the night, while you sleep. Whenever removing your dentures for storage, make sure to place them in liquid as they are made to stay wet. Never place dentures in direct sunlight as this can result in the material warping and a change in the way they fit in your mouth.
